This is some soap opera shit. If Bristol is 5 months pregnant, and Trig was born 4 months ago, then Trig can’t be Bristol’s baby, right?

Having a pregnant teen daughter is better than being accused of covering up her pregnancy and passing the baby off as your own. By making up some story about Bristol being pregnant now, the daughter takes the teen pregnancy rap, and Sarah gets off the hook.
